For over a century, genocide denial has not only distorted history but also paved the way for continued persecution and existential threats. Now, we face a pivotal moment—an urgent crisis that could lead to complete eradication. As misinformation fuels false equivalencies and silence enables destruction, how do we confront this enduring cycle of erasure before it is too late?
Aghmoog is hosting its first charity event in support of our fundraiser, "Lifesaving Shelters in Armenia's Border Towns."
This event will take the form of a panel discussion on ongoing genocidal violence and the fight for survival, featuring:
🔹 Hrag Vartanian – Editor-in-Chief & Co-founder of Hyperallergic
🔹 Lalai Manjikian, PhD – Professor, Researcher, Author, and Community Advocate
🔹 Lucy Dadayan, PhD – Researcher and Policy Analyst
Together, we will examine what it means to be Armenian in the world today, the weight of historical memory, and how our lived experiences shape the fight for justice.

Over the past three weeks, our campaign has received immense support from allies and friends across the world. We want to take a moment to thank you for your unwavering commitment to this crucial cause and urge you to keep the momentum going.
Recent developments at the Armenian border make it clear that time is running out before the next war. Azerbaijan has falsely accused Armenia of firing at its military positions over 12 times in the past four days—claims even EU observers at the border have denied. This desperate attempt to fabricate a pretext for full-scale war speaks volumes about Azerbaijan's readiness to escalate.
Further confirming these preparations, on March 17, 2025, Azerbaijan's State Security Service arrested a TikTok user, Samad Rustamov, for posting footage of Azerbaijani military equipment near the Armenian border. Filming and sharing military movements can now lead to fines or imprisonment—a measure identical to those imposed right before Azerbaijan's previous invasions, including the 2020 war.
These signs cannot be ignored and this is why we urge you to keep spreading this important initiative and donating now so we can build these shelters before war breaks out.
