In 1969 as a 19 year old Captain in the Black Panther Party while reading the Black Panther Party community news service Aaron Dixon learned about the Palestinian struggle for liberation where he also learned about the liberation struggles all over the world. Over the years of revolutionary struggle the Party would develop a strong relationship with the PLO. And today that relationship with Palestine is stronger than ever. The Palestinian struggle is the fight for freedom for the oppressed people throughout the world.
In 2012, Dixon’s first book, My People Are Rising was published and shortly after he was on a flight to Palestine with a delegation of Black activists. For 14 days they visited many places in Palestine, from the river to the sea. It was a sobering and painful experience for Dixon, that gave them the opportunity to see the truth of Israel's oppression and occupation. They also witnessed the love and warmth and the determination of the Palestinian people as well the support of many progressive Jewish people. “It was a trip that will forever be etched into my mind” said Dixon. We do believe that someday Palestine will be free and that will be a day when we all will be free.
Dixon, Captain in the Black Panther Party, affirms his solidarity at the historic conjecture after 100 days of resistance by people across the world marching in solidarity for Palestine and against the ongoing genocide, and after South Africa brings legal case against genocide bt Israel at the ICJ.
All Power to the People! All Power to Palestine! Free All Political Prisoners! Free Palestine!

Palestine libre!
