Responding to an initiative brought forth by Malika and Nayla, and motivated by the urgent need to express our solidarity with the people of Palestine, the Decolonial Love Circle is inviting artists and activists whose communities are united in their struggle for liberation, to lend their voice to the words that fuel resistance.
Bound together by our hope in the face of injustice and occupation, we invite you to join us on 19 November at 6pm to remember the right to life and dignity of those bodies that shape the stories of territories.
Readings in English, French and Arabic.
Since we are relying on words to call on you, those words that serve as the link between living beings in the face of genocidal rhetoric, the Maktaba bookshop will be offering a selection of books specifically chosen for the occasion.
The event is free to all, but donations are welcome and will be directed to the Montreal chapter of the Palestinian Youth Movement, who are working towards a more just world.
