Eros and Revolution helps us to understand social movements as a logical unfolding of the practice of thousands if not millions of people as they rise up to change their lives.
The essays collected in Marcos Ancelovici and Francis Dupuis-Déri's Subverting Politics: Autonomous Social Movements Today show how activists can undermine structures of political power by redefining participation.
Kropotkin Now!: Life, Freedom, & Ethics is an anthology that considers the enduring relevance of Peter Kropotkin's ideas on mutual aid and anarchism at a time of rising neo-fascism.
>>>
George Katsiaficas is a social theorist who is known for his many writings on social movements, including The Imagination of the New Left: A Global Analysis of 1968 and The Subversion of Politics: European Autonomous Social Movements and the Decolonization of Everyday Life. He was a professor of humanities at the Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston for more than three decades.
Christopher Coquard is an educator and a self-taught scholar of Peter Kropotkin who lives and works in Quebec City.
