There's something in the water - Un film d'Elliot Page et Ian Daniel

The film explores the disproportionate effect of environmental damage on Black and First Nations communities in Nova Scotia, from the suburb of Shelburne, where the correlation between contaminated well water and high rates of cancer is glaring, to the Sipekneꞌkatik First Nation, which is fighting a gas company's plan to dump salt brine into the Shubenacadie River.
Accessibility of the site: note that the site is air-conditioned, but it can get quite warm in hot weather. La place commune is accessible by manual wheelchair, but not by motorized wheelchair. Please write to us for more details on accessibility.
